All Tied Up
(1994)
Reviewed by Arno Mikli
Rating: 6.5 Beans

his film tells the heart-rendering story of how journalist Brian Hartley (Zack Galligan) has a misunderstanding with his fiancee (Teri Hatcher) and her two flatmates. As a result, he spends most of the film tied to a bed and being mercilessly harassed by all three of them.

Being endlessly teased by Teri Hatcher and two other attractive females (Tracy Griffith and Lara Harris) may sound like great fun, and the film is officially a comedy. However, Hartley's plight is seldom funny (at least to this male reviewer), and his reaction when he does finally get his freedom will strike the audience as being at once wimpish in its nature and incoherent in the way that it is presented to the audience.

It is difficult to see who would find this film to be entertaining. It may be of interest to those people who enjoy playing B&D games, but they would probably find this to be too tame. Staunch Teri Hatcher fans may enjoy it. Persons who have been genuinely been two-timed by their fiancees may like it.

The rest of us would want to give it a miss.
