m I the only person who HATES this movie with a passion? Ugh! I went to see this at the theatre since Mortal Kombat wasn't out yet, and I felt the desire to go to a theatre. Talk about your big mistakes.
Speaking of big mistakes, I found two major ones in this film. They would be Amy Heckerling making this film, and Alicia starring in it. Amy made such great films as Fast Times At Ridgemont High and Look Who's Talking. I was surprised to see this garbage under her belt. But, then again, she DID make Look Who's Talking Too. So maybe the force wasn't that strong.
What is it about? Why, it's about 3 girls saying 'whatever' and 'Baldwin' for an hour and a half. Now THAT'S Entertainment. As a matter of fact, that could have been the pitch for the film to the major company who needed some extra money. I could have written better myself, and I'm a horrible writer!!!!!
Anyway, Alicia wasted her time making this film. And it looks like she knows that fact. Especially in her lacking performance, in which she just spits out lines, not understanding her motivation at times. And if she isn't shopping or having a good time with her friends, she's pouting. Even scarier is that she won awards for this performance. Give me a Joan Cusack movie anyday.
