hat a piece of Garbage this is

First of all who in their right mind would give Mimi "I can make an action movie boring" Leder another film to direct, didn't we all get enough with "The Peacemaker", Secondly somebody casted Elijah Wood I guess "The War" really was forgetable because nobody remembered it when they made their casting decision.

So here's the story line in 100 words or less

This kid Leo discovers a comet, tells an astronmer who dies before he can tell anyone. Luckily the goverment finds out anyway. Enter this reporter who thinks the comet is a girl that this Senator is sleeping with. She confronts him, the secret service take her to see the President, she is rude to him, he helps her anyways. Now everybody knows about the comet, and where it's going to hit but everybody stays where they are because Robert Duvall is going to save them, he doesn't. The comet hits, everybody dies, except Leo who runs up a hill.

One last note on the dialogue: it sucks, nobody has anything cool to say and everything Morgan Freeman says sounds like a warmed over, shoddy, stolen Martin Luther King Jr. speech

Talk about a disaster movie, this whole movie is a disaster

that's all from me

Joe
