Headless Eyes, The
(1971)

ords simply cannot describe how mind-numbingly awful this movie is. I actually had to get up and take not one, but two breaks during this feature to maintain myself. Nothing can prepare you for this.

The "plot" has something to do with an artist who gets his eye gouged out with a spoon in the middle of a burglary. For his revenge, he in turn kills mostly female victims and takes their eyes. I guess this is because a woman gouged his eye out. The opening sequence is the only bearable part of this mess, only because of the incredibly fake scene of his gouged out eyeball.

In between coma-inducing dialogue scenes are even worse scenes of the artist removing the eyes of the victims, who are completely devoid of emotion, even though a killer is stalking them. Also, there's some really bad dubbing in some scenes, a completely meaningless love scene between the artist and a young student, awful music, and a horrible ending. This has no reedeeming qualites whatsoever.

You fans of "so bad it's good" horror should steer clear of this one, also, as I experienced physical and emotional pain while watching this. Good thing no one will ever find it, and if so, turn the other way.
