Superfly

drug dealer with a heart. How can you not love "Priest"? This is the bsic premise for a terrible movie. The only way people can tell me that this is a good movie is if they are talking about Curtis Mayfield's great soundtrack that accompanies the film. Everything else about this movie is horrendus.

The premise of the movie is "Priest" is a cocaine dealer who wants to get out of dealing powder because of he doesn't like the BS that goes along with making money. So he decides to make one last major deal for $1 million. Already the premise is bad. When you sit through the bad choreographed fight scenes, the even worse plot, and incredibly stereotypical "jive" dialogue, there is nothing else but to count your blessing that this tape only cost $1.99 to rent for 5 days. I'm still wondering if i should ask my videostore for a refund for even having this tape available to rent.

this is why I'm sending out a challenge to any movie executive or anybody at hit-n-run. the first person who can sit through my sewer reeking movie marathon will recieve all of the pennies I have."Superfly" will start the marathon followed by: "weekend at bernies 2", "Armed and dangerous", "the Craft", "Jade", "Rocky V", "The Substitute" and "Cops and Robbertsons" to end the marathon. If anybody can sit through these movies consecutively will recieve all the pennies I own.
