In Dreams
(1998)
Reviewed by Scott Murdock
Rating: 6 Beans

went to this movie seriously expecting it to be interesting and entertaining. What was I thinking?

A clever premise was ruined by inattention to detail, and general stupidity. Such as the convenience of police officers already in scuba gear (just in case the chase scene takes them near water) even though the chase began nowhere near water. Or an abandoned apple orchard where someone still has the time to pick hundreds to thousands of fresh apples daily. Or a psychiatric patient who is retstrained and in a secure padded cell, attacks a person, and as a result is transfered to an unsecured ground-floor room with an easy-open window. Or no sense of police procedure whatsoever in a hostage situation.

I really don't want to take any more time to talk about this movie, it just wasn't worth it. Boooooooorrr-ing.
